We all experience painful feelings and can invest lots of energy trying to understand them, overcome them, or sometimes avoid them. Within Buddhist psychology, we learn to correctly label our painful emotions, and understand the thinking that gives rise to and even perpetuates them. With this wisdom, we learn to apply practical techniques to work with our emotional pain. These are essential insights and skills we need for personal growth and freedom. Everyone is welcome – Buddhist or non-Buddhist – to attend this course.
